Generate Masked Email addresses with 1Password
A Masked Email address is a unique, automatically generated email address. When you need to sign up with new services online, keep your real email address private and protect yourself from data breaches and spam by creating a new masked email for every service.
If you have the 1Password browser extension, you can connect your Fastmail account to 1Password to easily and quickly generate new Masked Email addresses without leaving the signup page.

Log in to your Fastmail account using 1Password
Once you have 1Password installed, it will automatically prompt you to save your username and password the next time you log in to Fastmail. 1Password will also remember if you selected the Keep me logged in option.
To manually create a 1Password entry for Fastmail, use the website URL https://app.fastmail.com/login/.
Set up two-step verification using 1Password
If you're using two-step verification, you can use 1Password to provide the authentication code, rather than needing an additional app. (Note: you must add a recovery phone to your account before you can enable two-step verification.)
- Open the Settings → Privacy & Security screen, then go to the Two-step verification section and click Manage.
- Click the Add verification device button. A Verify it's you box will appear. Enter your password and click Continue. (For more information, see our Password-protected actions help page.)
- On the next screen, click the Set Up Authenticator App button. Add a name for the device; for example, "1Password".
- Open 1Password and find the entry for Fastmail. Click Edit and opt to add a One-Time Password. Click Scan from screen and follow the prompts.
- After finishing the prompts, be sure to click Save.
Now when you log in to Fastmail using 1Password, you can use 1Password to generate the authenticator code and paste it into the Fastmail login form.
