Calendar search

Fastmail supports an intuitive calendar search feature on web and mobile that helps you find events faster. You can chain these searches together to narrow down the results.

To search for an event, type one or more keywords into the Search Calendar box in the toolbar and hit enter. Matching events will be displayed in a sidebar on the screen and highlighted in your calendar view.

Advanced search

If you're having trouble finding what you're looking for, you can create a more precise search using the following terms:

is:repeated Search for events that are recurring.
is:invite Search for events to which you have been invited.
rsvp:yes Search for events to which you have marked "Going".
rsvp:maybe Search for events to which you have marked "Maybe".
rsvp:no Search for events to which you have marked "Not Going".

where:foo The event's location contains foo.
note:foo The event's description contains foo.
who:foo The event has a participant with foo in their name or email address.
from:foo The event is owned by someone with foo in their name or email address.

We also support the boolean operators AND/OR/NOT. You can use parentheses to group searches with these operators.

Example searches

rsvp:(yes OR maybe) who:hannah note:(NOT breakfast)

The above search will look for events owned by someone with "hannah" in their name or email address, to which you have marked yourself as "going" or "maybe", that does not contain the word "breakfast" in the description.

school picnic in:(School OR Personal)

The above search will perform a general search for events matching "school picnic", but only in the calendars named "School" or "Personal".
