Setting up Samsung Email

The instructions and screenshots in this setup guide are for Samsung Email, which is the native email client for Samsung devices.

You can easily add your Fastmail account to Samsung Email using the setup guide in the Settings → Import & Setup screen. The general setup instructions are below.

Samsung Email needs its own app password to access your information. If you use your normal password or your Fastmail two step verification password in Samsung Email, syncing won't work and you will see a password error.

  1. Open the Samsung Email app.

    • If you don't already have an account set up, the Set up Email screen appears. Tap on Other.

    • Otherwise, open the app's menu, tap on the Menu button icon and then tap Add Account.
